This started out to be a solo acoustic Accordion album much like Frank's last "Evergreens" album. However, Frank's good friend Ron Feuer, a great jazz piano player, talked about using Hammond Organ and accordion together.
They hit it off immediately both musically and personally and ended up recording four tunes together. Another great musician, George Young, plays alto sax on the ballad "My Ship". George Young is a very well known jazz and studio musician on the East Coast.
Originally they were thinking of using Bass and Drums, but their producer, Ron Feuer, Jr., liked the way they sounded without a rhythm section. The Bass lines on the four duo pieces were played on the Accordion.
