Raised in Illinois, he started accordion lessons at 7 and at 17 took 1st place in a music contest, performing his solo at Chicago’s Soldier’s Field. He soon formed a trio and played often in several Midwestern states where he met his wife Anne. Together they headed to Los Angeles where they had 3 daughters and now 8 grandchildren. In L.A. he formed a new group and played hotels and clubs in Las Vegas, Tahoe, and Palm Springs. But being close to movie and TV studios, opportunities unfolded—and studio soundtrack sessions began and a career was born, including Bob Hope tours to servicemen and nominated 8 years in a row (winner twice) as "most valuable player" in the National Academy of Arts and Sciences awards.

"Though I’ve had some success, my primary goal has been to be the best I could possibly be. This takes integrity, hard work, and dedication," says Frank.
